SSF enzymes to improve fiber digestibility.

The digestibility of fiber in forage as well as feed is comparatively low especially when intake and passage rate is high. The higher passage rate decreases the residence time of feed in rumen whereas lower hydration rate of indigestible fiber delays the ruminal digestion process of forage particle. In addition, since rumination does not reduce the particle size of indigestible fiber, efficiency of digestion is again challenged. Therefore, it tends to stay long in rumen making the animal to feel rumen fill and limits dry matter intake and reduces efficiency of milk production. Research has demonstrated that supplementing ruminant diet with fiber degrading enzymes have significant potential to improve feed utilization and animal performance. However, the enzymes supplemented should have high feed and forage specificity as well as better stability under ruminal conditions to obtain optimal benefits.

FIBERZYME is a unique enzyme product produced on feed and forage-based substrates under natural solid state fermentation conditions. The selected strain of Non-GM Aspergillus niger culture used for manufacturing Fiberzyme is induced to produce a set of enzymes with high specificity in their mode of action towards feed and forage NSPs. The process generates a set of naturally protected and stable enzymes which helps to improve and optimize fiber digestion and thereby balances nutrient requirements of rumen microbes and enhances rumen fermentation efficiency.
Benefits:

  • Improves fibre digestion.
  • Reduced digestive disorders.
  • Healthy rumen and intestinal tract.
  • Improved performance & longer productive life.
  • Improved utilization of micronutrients.
  • Improves rumen microflora.
