Saccharomyces boulardii is very effective against common opportunistic intestinal pathogens that cause diarrhoea.
Mechanism of action
Clinical efficacy of S.boulardii is attributed to its antagonistic action against intestinal pathogens. Research has indicated that the action of Protease, an inhibitory enzyme produced by S.boulardii is very effective against E.coli and other enteric bacteria. Addition of S.boulardii in the diets of pigs also increases the levels of immunoglobulins.
DIANIL in coccidiosis
Coccidiosis due to Isospora suis is an important cause of diarrhoea in Piglets.
DIANIL not only reduces piglet diarrhoea caused by coccidia, but also reduces diarrhoea caused by other bacteria.
