We are a three decade old company built on passion, dedication and a never ending urge for knowledge, innovation and sustainable advances in animal nutrition. Founded by Late Dr. Jayprakash Nair, Zeus Biotech had foreseen the needs of the animal feed industry in the 21st century through its innovative product lines including feed specific solid state fermentation enzymes, fermented organic trace minerals, rumen specific yeast culture, and other unique nutritional supplements. Inspired by the extreme ability of microbes to do bioconversions of simple compounds to complex and highly bioactive molecules, we engage specific bioprocess strategies including submerged and solid-state fermentation, to produce highly efficient molecules such as feed specific enzymes, probiotics, fermented organic trace minerals and herbal actives.
Respecting nature and following the organic way in all the processes and products, we have been growing steadily over the years to be one of the leading animal supplement manufacturing company in India. Initiated with a moderate infrastructure of two fermentation facilities, Zeus Biotech currently holds one of the largest Solid- State Fermentation manufacturing facility for feed supplements in the country with 18 fermentation chambers spanning over three production units. This is supported through a 10,000 square feet state-of-the-art Research & Development centre with a dedicated Microbial Culture collection facility and a well-equipped Quality Control & Research lab. Currently, we export our products to more than 20 countries in south east Asia, the Middle east and the African region.
Zeus Biotech introduced the world’s first feed specific synergistically acting multienzyme supplement POLYZYME®, from a single substrate in the year 1991 by Solid State Fermentation. In the year 1994, Zeus Biotech produced the world’s first broiler feed specific probiotic-enzyme feed supplement BROZYME®, produced by fermentation of selected new generation bacillus & fungal cultures on a single substrate.
During the last decade, Zeus Biotech and its associate companies have brought out many innovative, ‘all natural’ feed supplements. They include feed specific Solid state fermentation enzymes, Double strain live yeast cultures fermented on herbal-grain mash, Herbo-mineral complexes for optimum egg production, Organically bound micro-mineral complexes for all animal species, Yeast nucleotides, Phosphorylated yeast mannoglucan Oligosaccharides and many more.

Establishment of Zeus Biotech Pvt. Ltd dedicated for designing, development & manufacturing of biotechnologically derived natural feed supplements. Introduction of a feed specific probiotic product.
Setting up of a Research and Quality Control laboratory with a dedicated Microbial Culture Collection Centre. Introduction of an innovative concept containing probiotic, Yeast, Organic acid & Herb based Natural growth promoter for poultry application.
Extensive research on solid state fermentation technology & establishment of a pilot scale Solid State Fermentation facility for production of Feed Specific multienzyme products. Incorporation of Jaysons Agritech Pvt. Ltd., to cater the Dairy, Camel & other ruminant segments.
Establishment of our first commercial scale solid state fermentation facility to produce feed specific multienzymes from fungal cultures. Incorporation of Zeus Feed Supplements (Currently known as KENZOE) to cater liquid and water soluble farm care products.
Introduction of the World’s first Layer specific SSF enzyme-based product and Broiler specific probiotic- enzyme combination. Commencement of export activities.
Introduction of a rumen specific product containing a unique combination of Yeast, Aspergillus oryzae & Fermented herb based supplement for Dairy. Introduction of highly bioavailable multistage Solid-state fermentation based line of Organic trace mineral products.
Initiated research on novel probiotic strains to address latest challenges faced by the industry.
Started contract manufacturing of feed supplements for various leading brands in domestic & international markets.
Established the second manufacturing facility dedicated for solid state fermentation of feed specific products. Modernisation and expansion of Research, Quality Control & Culture Collection centre.
Installed submerged fermentation plant dedicated for bacterial and yeast based probiotic manufacturing.

Equipped with state-of-the-art solid state and liquid fermentation facilities, our infrastructure is designed to cater the ever growing demands of the industry. Our products are set to match standards of international regulations and guidelines including European Union. The facilities include automated raw material handling, substrate processing and solid-state fermentation chambers, PLC controlled Submerged fermenters, fluidized dryers, automated boilers, and water purification systems, motorized liquid processing and handling systems. This is supported through a state-of-the-art laboratory facility with a dedicated research and development centre, microbial culture collection facility and a full-fledged Quality Control lab with ultra-modern equipments including Liquid Chromatography, Atomic absorption spectrophotometer, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, Microwave digestor, Thermocyclers, Protein Separators and analyzers, Liquid distillation & extraction systems to name a few.
With our Corporate office located in Mysore, in the state of Karnataka, India, and an international office at U.A.E, we export to more than 23 countries including, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Australia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, Nigeria, Ghana, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Uganda, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
We are committed to nature and our manufacturing technology and green sustainability policy are a reflection of our pledge to be a responsible manufacturer. Currently 40% of our power requirement is met through solar energy and is projected to attain 100% self sufficiency by 2025. 80% of our products are manufactured using Solid state fermentation technology which is a Zero waste generation process.
